Does the size of a portion of food affect its GI?
No the size will not
affect the GI score but you could expect the see a higher blood glucose level.
Is a low GI diet suitable for vegetarians?
Yes, given that most
fruit and vegetables have a low score.
Why is it that some foods do not appear on the GI list?
This is because that do
not contain or have very minute quantities of carbohydrates. Foods that fall
into this category include all meats, eggs, nuts and even some fruits such as
berries.
